Requisitos Residencia Temporal
Passport with a minimum validity of six (6) months. According to the application regulation 631-11.
Residence Visa (RS).
Birth certificate.
Four (4) recent photographs, from the same set: two (2) from the front and two (2), from the right profile, size 2×2, white background
Certificate of No Criminal Record from your country of origin or from the country where you have resided in the last five (5) years.
Marriage certificate, declaration of single status or proof of cohabitation, apostille stamp or legalized.

Medical examinations, in one of the institutions authorized by the DGMProcedimientos a seguir
1- Ingresar al portal de servicios de la DGM. (https://personal.migracion.gob.do).
2- Registra tu usuario y contraseña en el sistema. (Si ya te registraste previamente, introduce tu usuario y contraseña anteriores).
3- Selección del servicio:
3.1- Elija la opción “LISTA DE SOLICITUDES”.
3.2- En la opción “SERVICIOS DISPONIBLES” seleccione la UBICACIÓN-OFICINA donde recibirá el servicio.
3.3- Del “LISTA DE SERVICIOS”, elija el servicio que desea solicitar.
3.4- Completar toda la información requerida en el “CUESTIONARIO INFORMATIVO PARA SOLICITANTE”.
- Los documentos escaneados deberán estar en formato JPG para la solicitud vía web.
- El examen médico debe realizarse dentro de los tres (3) días posteriores al pago (incluido el día del pago); de lo contrario, deberá realizar el pago nuevamente. Debe esperar diez (10) días para conocer los resultados.
- Todos los documentos depositados en la DGM deben ser originales y estar notariados, legalizados y apostillados, según corresponda. Al finalizar el trámite, recibirá la Identificación de Residencia Temporal:

REQUISITOS DE VISA DE RESIDENCIA (RS):
Se expedirán a favor de personas interesadas en residir permanentemente en el país. Las personas que cumplan con los siguientes requisitos califican para este tipo de visa:
Family ties (family reunification by marriage / direct dependency).
Investors Law 171-07.
Pensioners, Retirees or Renters according to Law 171-07.La Visa de Residencia (RS) tiene una validez de sesenta (60) días y es válida para una (1) sola entrada. Una vez en territorio dominicano, el beneficiario de esta visa deberá presentarse ante la Dirección General de Migración para formalizar los trámites de residencia temporal, debiendo cumplir con los requisitos adicionales que esta exige, siendo esta visa el primer requisito. (Sección VI, Artículo 48, Inciso (a) del Decreto Núm. 631-11, Reglamento para la aplicación de la Ley General de Migración Núm. 285-04).
Requisitos para la visa de trabajador temporal (VTT)
Presentarse en las oficinas de las misiones consulares dominicanas con la siguiente documentación y requisitos:

Certificate of no criminal record, from the country of residence of the worker, or from the last country in which he was domiciled, duly translated into Spanish if it was in another language, apostilled or legalized by the Dominican consulate, as appropriate.
Original letter, issued by the institution, body, company or natural person with whom the foreigner will carry out temporary work, stating the commitment to comply with the conditions and requirements on labor rights and conditions of the country, communication of information on workers, transportation, travel expenses and repatriation.
Insurance guarantee bond to cover medical and repatriation expenses.
Medical Certificate presenting a diagnosis of the applicant's general state of health and indicating whether he or she suffers from any type of infectious disease. It must be issued by the corresponding health authorities, duly translated into Spanish if it is in another language, apostilled or legalized by the Dominican consulate, as appropriate.
Communication from the employing company with the promise of work, attaching a certification from the Ministry of Labor stating that it is registered with the Ministry of Labor and is registered with the Social Security Treasury (TSS).
